HARRY MURNANE JR., WWII VET A Mass
for Harry F. Murnane, Jr., 77, of New Providence will be offered at noon Wednesday in Our Lady of Peace Church, New Providence. Arrangements are by the Louis Suburban Chapel, 70 Hudson St., Dover.
Mr. Murnane, who died Saturday at home, was an operating engineer for Local 825 of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Newark, before retiring.
Previously, he had been a stevedore foreman for Pittston Co., Newark. During World War II, Mr. Murnane served in the Army as a sergeant in the Transportation Corps in Anzio, Italy. He was a member
of the American Legion in Florham Park and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in New Providence. Mr. Murnane was a member of the Elks Club of Stirling and Madison and the Knights of Columbus of New Providence. Born in Newark, he moved to New Providence in 1949. Surviving are Audrey, his wife of 52 years; a son Kevin; two sisters, Mrs. Mary O'Rourke and Mrs. Betty Poeschla, and two grandchildren.

and Betty Peoschia. A Mass will be offered noon Wednesday, May 12, 1999 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, New Providence, NJ Private burial.
