MOTHERS & MORE is a not-for-profit organization
for women who have left the paid workforce to raise their children at home. It is an organization for all women dealing with the transitions between paid employment and at home motherhood. MOTHERS & MORE
is about respecting, supporting and advocating for CHOICE in how one combines working and parenting. MOTHERS & MORE Offers: SUPPORT
and encouragement to parents experiencing the difficulties sometimes involved with the choice to remain at home. We share information to help maximize personal growth and happiness during a woman's at-home years.
ADVOCACY
- MOTHERS & MORE advocates educating and motivating business and government to address the needs of families by supporting improved and expanded childcare options and family-friendly work options (i.e. job-sharing, flex time). NEWSLETTER - All members receive a national newsletter which includes personal
accounts of life at home, survival techniques, book reviews, news from around the country regarding work/family issues, political and environmental issues and much more! LOCAL MEMBERSHIP – MOTHERS & MORE
is the only national at-home mothers' organization to offer local chapters. Chapter involvement provides a core group of women with whom to share friendship, concerns, and a sense of community.
